WASTE WATER TREATMENT

Treatment – Black and Gray Water

The Evac range of advanced waste water treatment plants and membrane bioreactor systems includes standard units for smaller installations as well as tailor made units for bigger installations, such as cruise liners. All our systems meet the most stringent effluent regulations, both today and in the future.
We also supply physicochemical waste water treatment plants for applications where space and weight are critical issues.

MBR (Advanced Membrane Bio-Reactor)

The membrane bioreactor series represents advanced black and grey wastewater treatment solutions for all vessels.

All Evac MBR units are IMO MEPC 227(64) certified and also USCG certified.
The Evac standard MBR is also available as a combined unit with vacuum generation integrated.
The Evac MBR features low power consumption, owing to its low pressure submerged membranes.

The quality of effluent is extremely high in all sea conditions and exceeds all current specifications.

Benefits:

  • Proven membrane bioreactor technology with very low sludge production
  • High quality disinfected effluent without use of chemicals
  • Extremly low running costs and minimal energy consumption
  • Membrane has expected lifetime of over 10 years and is resistant to clogging and fouling
  • Fully automated and easy to operate with MLSS and pH sensors
  • Easily customized for your preference
  • Stand alone unit, BW and GW directly connected (no holding tank needed
  • Connect directly to inlet line (no holding tank needed) as an option
  • Nutrient removal available as an option
  • Over 500 completed marine projects

Evac ORCA IV Wastewater treatment plant

The Evac ORCA IV electrolytic wastewater treatment plant is designed to treat black

And grey wastewater aboard of multiple vessel types(cargo vessels, navy vessels, yachts,

Ferry’s and small cruisers), as well as on offshore platforms.

Evac ORCA IV is a purely electrolytic wastewater treatment plant that fulfills the requirements of

MEPC 227 (64) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and is also U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) approved.

The compact, modular design makes it ideal for both installation on new vessels and retrofitting

Existing vessels. It operates on a batch basis but it is basically continuous, is fully automatic in normal

Operation, and only requires low maintenance. Depending on the model, the hydraulic load for black and grey vacuum wastewater treatment ranges from 1,500 to 70.000 liters / 396 to 18.492 gallons per day

Benefits:

  • Compact, modular design with a small footprint.
  • Fully automatic operation
  • Low operation and maintenance costs
  • Highly efficient black and grey water treatment
  • No need to store or handle chemicals
  • IMO MEPC 227(64) approved
