Phase 4 at Øster Hurup Denmark

Øster Hurup Etape 4 – Denmark

Again Qua-vac has signed a new contract with Mariagerfjord Vand A/S to deliver the Vacuflow vacuum sewer system for project Øster Hurup. This time it is Etape 4 (Phase 4).

Qua-vac has been recognized as a reliable supporting company for water companies in Denmark.

After succesfull completion of the first system in 2017, the next phase is on its way. This phase contains another 750 summer houses that need to be connected. Installation of the system will take place at the end of 2018 and will be executed in 3 phases. The last phase will be finalized in 2020.

The Vacuflow vacuum sewer system has been proven the best choice for locations such as these, close to the sea and with high ground water table.

The Vacuflow sewer system will receive wastewater from over 750 summerhouses and a big camping. All the sewage will be collected in 250 collection chambers which are connected to 13 km of HDPE vacuum mainlines, transporting the sewage to the vacuum station.

Together with the client Mariagerfjord and consultant Envidan, Qua-vac will give Øster Hurup inhabitants a vacuum sewage system which will replace all the existing septic tanks.

The contract was signed by Mr. Søren Erikstrup the director of Mariagerfjord Vand A/S and Mr. Ivar Quatfass Managing Director of Qua-vac BV in the Netherlands.
