We’re proud to announce our contribution to the recently launched new river cruiser Riviera Resplendence and want to congratulate Scylla AG for a successful commissioning and christening of this beautiful hotel cruiser.
The Rivièra Resplendence belongs to the Scylla fleet and can accommodate 178 guests in beautiful cabins. As part of this project, Qua-vac has delivered a hull-made tank Evac MBR (Membrane BioReactor) wastewater treatment system, creating a highly compact and space-efficient solution for onboard wastewater management.
In addition to the treatment plant, a fully integrated vacuum system, including the Evac Group Optima 5 vacuum toilets for both crew and guest areas has been successfully installed in close cooperation with our long-term partner, Marineservice Holland.
Evac MBR is an advanced biological wastewater treatment plant suitable for all vessel types ranging from small yachts to large cruise ships. The MBR plant handles all black (sewage) and grey waters from galleys, sinks, showers, and laundry facilities, generating great quality effluent in one step without the need for further post-treatment steps.
We are proud of this successful collaboration and look forward to supporting many more sustainable marine projects together. Together, we’re significantly reducing environmental impact and ensuring a cleaner, greener journey for all.
