Introduction

A vacuum toilet saves up to 80% of drinking water per flush compared to a traditional toilet because it uses negative pressure -rather than water-to flush. How does a vacuum toilet system work?

A vacuum toilet works differently from a traditional, gravity toilet. Wastewater is drawn from the toilet through a network of thin pipes into a vacuum tank and then transported away. This requires less water, resulting in significant water savings.

Since drainage does not depend on a slope, the system can be installed in virtually any direction. This makes the sewer system easy to install and adapt, and offers installation options that would often be complex, time-consuming, or costly with conventional systems.

Vacuum toilets and Vacuflow®, the ideal combination

Vacuflow® is the clean and efficient alternative for eco-friendly sewage systems. Compared to conventional sewer systems, vacuum sewer systems are significantly simpler and cheaper to install. If vacuum toilets are also connected to the vacuum sewer system, significant water savings can be achieved! In addition, the Vacuflow® system is leak-free, and the sumps can be monitored remotely via Vaculink®, our online monitoring tool.
