Hithadhoo – Maldives
Again Qua-vac bagged the order for installation and commissioning of project Hithadhoo Island in the Republic of the Maldives. Qua-vac has been recognized as a reliable supporting company for Islands of the Maldives.
After succesfull completion of already four other Islands of the Maldives, we are very happy to have successfully finalized the 5th as well. We see a bright future ahead for installation of Vacuflow vacuum sewer system on the other Islands to come.
The Vacuflow vacuum sewer system has been proven the best choice for locations such as these, with coral and high ground water table. The installed Vacuflow vacuum sewer system receives wastewater from over 2.200 household and will serve more than 10.000 residents.
This project started in 2012 with the installation of some 12 km of HDPE pipe network, 500 collection chambers and 2 vacuum stations. The project was commissioned on the 27th of August 2018 and handed over to the client, Fenaka Corporation and the Government of Maldives.
