[München, 13/5/2024] – Qua-vac, a leading provider of vacuum sewer systems, is pleased to announce the signing of a significant contract with Mariagerfjord Vand A/S in Denmark. This marks the third major contract for Qua-vac in Denmark within the last seven years.
The Vacuflow vacuum sewer system has been chosen as the preferred solution for this project due to its proven effectiveness, particularly in locations with high groundwater tables and close proximity to the sea. The system will efficiently manage wastewater from 1400 summerhouses located in and around Als Odde, at the mouth of the Mariagerfjord to the Kattegat. The project will be carried out in seven stages planned for completion between 2024 and 2030.
The contract was signed by Mr. Søren Erikstrup, Director of Mariagerfjord Vand A/S, and Mr. Ivar Quatfass, CEO of Qua-vac BV in the Netherlands. “We are delighted to continue our successful partnership with Mariagerfjord Vand A/S and to contribute to the development of sustainable wastewater management solutions in Denmark,” said Mr. Quatfass. “The Vacuflow vacuum sewer system has consistently proven to be the most reliable and efficient choice for such demanding environments.”
Qua-vac is committed to providing innovative, environmentally friendly solutions for wastewater management, and this latest contract underscores the company’s reputation as a global leader in the industry.
